Haunted Houses in Utah
Utah's haunted places are an interesting mix. Many of the attractions are out of the way including abandoned mines, tunnels, caves, worker camps, and ghost towns. There's even a ghost hitchhiker roaming American Fork Canyon. For those who prefer keeping closer to civilization, Salt Lake City has a host of haunted hotels, mansions, and lodges to tour. This includes a spectacularly renovated railroad depot built in 1910. Apparently the upgrade failed to chase off the dozens of ghosts known to still roam the place. Want some grub with your ghouls? Check out Leslie's Family Tree restaurant in Santaquin, which is known for being haunted by up to 60 ghosts. So stop in for your serving of screams with a side order of creepy.
