Haunted Places in South Dakota
South Dakota is one of the least populated states in the union so it’s only fitting that it’s also one of the most haunted as well.
Devil’s Gulch in Garretson is one such place. The long-standing oral legend is that a pair of runaway lovers tried jumping the gulch to escape a band of marauding Native Americans and there was a massive shootout ensuing.
