Jeff the Killer is Coming to the Big Screen

For over 18 years, the infamous creepypasta, Jeff the Killer, has terrorized the internet. Now, this online legend is finally getting a movie adaptation of its own.

Who is Jeff the Killer?

The story of Jeff the Killer has evolved over the years, but the original is the most terrifying. According to creepypastafiles, Jeff is a 13-year-old boy who recently moved to a new neighborhood. He moved with his parents and his brother, Liu. On their first day of school, three bullies began tormenting Jeff and Liu. Jeff was able to fight the bullies, but Liu ended up taking the blame for it and was arrested. Jeff was deeply saddened after Liu’s incarceration and fell into a depression.

Weeks later, Jeff attended a party where the three bullies happened to be. They attacked Jeff, covering him in bleach and setting him on fire. In turn, Jeff murdered one of them. He then passed out and later woke up in the hospital. His head was covered in bandages, since his face had been burned badly. When the bandages were finally removed, Jeff was shown that his face had been permanently disfigured. Then, something very strange happened – Jeff began to laugh manically. It seemed like he had lost his mind.

When he was finally released from the hospital, Jeff went home with his parents. Additionally, his brother had been released from jail. So, that night, his mother had found him in the kitchen, carving a permanent smile into his face. His mom was extremely frightened and ran to get his dad. Jeff, however, didn’t like his mother’s reaction, and he chased both of his parents down and murdered them. He then went and found Liu asleep in bed. As Jeff was about to kill his brother, he muttered the terrifying words, the words that become his “catchphrase” of sorts – “Go to sleep.” He then stabbed his brother to death.

From then on, Jeff became what he is known for – a killer. It’s rumored that he goes around, murdering those who aren’t asleep at night.

Moss has garnered over 11.4 million followers and has over 308.5 million likes. Based on her popularity, it seems that this will be a promising new film. We are excited to see it hit the silver screen!
