Haunted Elk Forge B&B Maryland’s haunted bed and breakfast started over 200 years ago as Elk Forge Company. This hard working, 1,000 acre community was home to a forge, saw mill, textile mill, grain mill and many farms. It stayed that way until 1981 when the new owners expanded and renovated the existing buildings and created the bed and breakfast that so many visit today.
