When most people think of haunted hotels, they think of older buildings, but the Planet Hollywood Aladdin Hotel proves that not all haunted hotels are old. The Aladdin Hotel sits on the land where the old hotel of the same name once stood and became Planet Hollywood Las Vegas in 2007. Guests of the former hotel included such big names as Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, but no one knows if they have a connection to the haunting of the hotel. Nevada’s notorious Clown Motel sits between Reno and Las Vegas on highway 95 in the small town of Tonopah. The town of Tonopah was once a booming mining town with nearly 50,000 residents. It now sits at population of 2,500 and much of the town appears deserted. Most of Tonopah’s residents work for the military test range, which is just one of the things that makes this place so eerie.
