Parents should exercise caution in allowing younger children to enter the Dungeon. The Dungeon contains loud sounds, strobe lights, sudden movements, artificial fog and other effects that young children may find frightening. Some scenes may be considered disturbing and may be too intense for children.

Haunt of Halloween conjures up a hell of a scary time in truly macabre fashion starting Sept. 30-Oct. 31, 2021 on selected days/nights. From our collective twisted minds come Outpost 13, a 5,000+ square-foot haunted maze that unmasks the true spirit of Halloween! It’s psychologically designed to shock your senses, test your limits, and bring out your deepest fears. It also showcases a SCARE ZONE where the tables are turned and you’re given 5 minutes to draw blood-curdling screams from your victims — 

it’s where maze-goers get to scare the hell out of people. 

Haunt of Halloween on Sat. and Sun. from 2-5PM shifts to “kid fun mode”. The Not-So-Scary Haunted Maze is great fun and ideal for guests ages 6 – 12. They will enjoy a “less haunted” 3600 sq. ft. version of our haunted maze featuring Trick-or-Treating all throughout the maze and fun activities… just without the fright! No special effects, scare-o-meter off and theatrical lights on. There will also be a pumpkin patch with non-knife carving/decorating and spooky Halloween shows and acts. Costumes are encouraged. 

Haunt of Halloween is the ideal Halloween experience for all Halloween fanatics. The event also features an interactive reptile exhibit, a face your fears sensory attraction, and an up close horror pop up. The Academy Playhouse is proud to present the macabre performance of The Haunting of Hill House, a stage play that inspired two movies and a Netflix series.  This 90 minute live performance is running for the first three weekends of October. A chilling and mystifying study in mounting terror in which a small group of “psychically receptive” people are brought together in Hill House, a brooding, mid-Victorian mansion known as a place of evil and “contained ill will.” Led by the learned Dr. Montague, who is conducting research in supernatural phenomena, the visitors have come to probe the secrets of the old house and to draw forth the mysterious powers that it is alleged to possess—powers which have brought madness and death to those who have lived therein in the past.

This brand new haunted attraction had been hidden in the canyons below the Hayride of Horror. The veil between the living and the dead has been lifted, and a powerful Voodoo Priestess has been called forth from her home in the swamps. She commands a legion of fiendish monsters to assist her so that she may stay in this realm, wreaking havoc. Do you carry the still beating heart she yearns for? You must navigate the treacherous maze to escape, or risk being her next victim.

This is a walking attraction with an uneven trail, tight corners, low ceilings, strobe lighting, fog and loud noises. The Curse of the Bayou is not recommended for young children. Parental guidance is suggested.
