Aura Haunted House is located in the old Peoria State Hospital historic district, at 4500 Enterprise Drive, Bartonville Illinois, in the Historic Pollak Tuberculosis Hospital Building. The Pollak Hospital was added to the state hospital campus in 1949, although tuberculosis deaths on the grounds dated back to the earliest days of the asylum. By 1906, it was the leading cause of death at the Peoria State Hospital. Built in 1949 the Pollak Hospital Building was built to care for patients with tuberculosis. OLD STATE MINE is an all-outdoor trail based around the legend of an old mining village that was overtaken by an evil entity known as Doom. Journey down through time to unveil the origins of Doom’s evil plan for Assimilation! If you are not consumed by the ghostly fire, you will wind through the narrow paths leading through the Doom-infested Mine, then ascend into the haunted village, Old Town. Krampusnacht Underworld at the Haunted Infirmary is an indoor, theatrical haunt with live actors, unique scenes and original prop work. All scenes are wheelchair accessible. We are open Friday December 4th and Saturday December 5th for a special Holiday Krampus Haunt from 6:00PM until Midnight. Admission is $10 per person for this event. Tickets will be available online or at the gate both nights (cash-only). The Haunted Infirmary at Bartonville Insane Asylum

On a bluff overlooking the Illinois River Valley, past the old institution gates, beyond the other abandoned asylum buildings, deep into the haunted grounds, stands the infirmary of this once-enormous compound. A maniacal group of demonic entities have overtaken this abandoned asylum to summon the Gateway of Doom.
