Frequently asked questions:
Q: Is it scary?
A: Fear is a relative thing. We make our best effort to get everybody but we also try to make sure that if you don’t get scared you will still have fun. Some advice: If you come into a haunted attraction determined not to get scared, you probably won’t. Relax and enjoy the show, a little fright could be good for you. Also, if you don’t scare easily, bring people with you that do. Half the fun is hearing your friends scream.
Q: If I am in line at closing time will I still get in?
A: Yes. The gate stays open until the advertised time. The attraction stays open until all ticket holders have gone through the haunt.
Q: Will I be touched?
A: While the inhabitants of the attraction will not purposely grab the patrons, you may encounter more subtly or indirect touch, or accidental contact in the darker areas. There are moving props and animatronics that you will most likely come in contact with.
Q: Should I bring my kids?
A: While our attraction is not recommended for small children, we leave this decision to the parent or guardian. Keep in mind that we do not tone down the show if a child is in your group. We do not allow children to be forced to enter the attraction against their will. Children under ten must be accompanied by an adult.
Q: I have a health condition. Should I go through the attractions?
A: Participation at Haunted in Holum is not recommended for those who have heart conditions, are pregnant, have asthma, are epileptic, or have other physical conditions that could be aggravated by a frightening environment.
Q: What if I get too scared to finish going through the attraction?
A: Security personal will escort you out if you get too scared to continue.

16307 Dolton Drive, Chesterfield, VA, USA

Legend has it that everything at The Herton Cross Cemetery was once a nice and docile community in the middle of Virginia. It had a wonderful makeup of upstanding individuals, families, and professionals.  Picnics and festivals aplenty, the community would thrive with laughter and cheer.  That was until one fateful autumn season in 2020; when The Doctor came to town.

Some heralded them as a savior, some as a great visionary.  One to lead the community through trying and tough times and to carry the mantle of all that represented good.  But something was off and it would be too late before anyone could stop what was to come…

What happens when a bunch of hillbillies are too lazy to leave the holler to do some food shopping? All hell breaks loose! The recently dead can’t taste that bad can they? Graveyards were raided until there was nothing left. Now what?

Three hillbillies, Jethro, Bocephus, and Vincent venture down to the wetlands to seek out Lucia the Swamp Witch. They conspire to lure tourists into their lair.

The Hellbillies get the meat, the Witch gets the souls, and the rest goes to the Gators. This arrangement costs them dearly. Souls wear thin when canniBa’alism is practiced.

Madam Athena, Gypsy fortune teller, wanders the countryside warning travelers to steer clear of Hellbilly Holler. Her foreboding often goes unheeded as travelers seeking potions of love, youth, and revenge venture to the holler for Lucia’s dark assistance.

Many become dinner, few escape.

Two nights only - Friday, Oct. 27 and Saturday, Oct. 28 from 6:00 p.m. - 9 p.m.

It’s not the giant monster in your closet, the masked man lurking in your yard, the creepy guy skulking around camp, or the knife-fingered phantom floating through your dreams. The scariest nightmare is hearing the words “it’s cancer”.
This disease is one terror we’d like to eradicate from existence. For 2 nights only this Halloween weekend, the Fitzy’s Fright Fest Scarecrew will be doing our part to make it happen, with proceeds from the haunt benefiting the American Cancer Society.
Weaving through two wooded acres, we’re a family run, family friendly haunted attraction. Fitzy’s has been featured on NH Chronicle, consistently listed at the top of WMUR-TV Viewer’s Choice Best Haunted Houses, and called “Legendary” by New England Haunts Podcast.
Located at 37 Maple Avenue in Newton, NH, Fitzy’s Fright Fest is free and open to the public. We will operate from 6-9 p.m. on Friday, October 27 and Saturday, October 28.
This year we’re making the haunt more comfortable for our guests with modifications to accelerate the queue line and easy public access to a portable toilet, donated in part by Pete’s Sewer Service in Plaistow. Please keep safety in mind by driving slowly through the neighborhood; being respectful of our neighbors by parking only on the same side of the road as the haunt.
As an outdoor haunt, Fitzy’s Fright Fest is weather dependent – updated information will continue to be posted on our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Fitzysfrightfest/.
