In August of 2013, the haunted 100 year old Pioneer Saloon was featured on the popular television show, “Ghost Adventures.” The “GAC” team were locked down, with their equipment, in the saloon all night. During their intense stay they uncovered very strong and compelling evidence of ghostly existence in this historical Nevada landmark.

Experience the thrill of being “locked down” inside the spooky and very haunted Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings, Nevada. According to the “History Channel,” there are several ghosts that haunt the 100 year old Saloon and Gallery. The Pioneer houses bullet holes in the side of the building and a coroner’s letter describing how they were created. The old saloon is said to be “haunted” by the gun shot victim’s ghost, as well as the spirit of an old miner. Ghostly images have been seen by many employees and saloon visitors over the years

Grandpa Grimm’s KneeKnocker Woods was brought to life by the owners and family of Icon Poly, a custom 3D sculpture fabrication company.

Located in rural Nebraska, just west of Gibbon on U.S. Hwy 30, the outdoor animatronic Halloween experience is set along an old wooded river which snakes through corn planted agricultural land and features an unsettling stroll through the creepy woods to the place of an abandoned zombie infested community, complete with a graveyard and many other modified community attractions and services. It’s like they are building their own town out there.

This experience uses state of the art amusement park quality animatronics to entertain at a level rarely found in an outdoor Halloween attraction.

There have always been dark rumors circling about the Clearing Medical Asylum. It was decided to build a medical center off property in order to prove patients could once again return to the public, if they returned to the center for periodic treatments and medication. The most disturbing rumors are ones center around the controversial pill named Euphorium and the fact that it was abruptly banned and ceased production. For the former residents of the asylum, there was one thing they all feared more than life on the outside… a life without Euphorium.

Hellscream Entertainment includes Haunted Houses, Escape Rooms, Laser Tag, and Murder Mysteries. Hellscream is consistently ranked as a top haunted house in Colorado. In 2016 Spooky Colorado AND Denver Haunted Houses ranked Hellscream #1 in Colorado.  Sinister Haunted House is our newest and largest attraction. Our haunts are open from September to November each year so check the calendar and website for details.

Hellscream also offers off season attractions such as Escape Rooms, Laser Tag, and Murder Mystery. There are two escape rooms at Hellscream.  The Elevator is one of the biggest Escape Rooms in Colorado and also one of the most unique in the world! Your adventure will start in an elevator which will take you on a three level journey through 6,000 square feet of Hellscream. You will need all of your wits and skills to get out within 60 minutes.

The second Escape Room at Hellscream is called The Manor  where you and seven other people are trapped in a room. You have to look around and you start to notice strange messages and hidden clues. Can you and your team solve the puzzles, find the key, and get out of The Manor within an hour? Grab your friends, family, or  co-workers to come test your mental might and try to escape one of our rooms. They are one of the creepiest, most heart pounding, adrenaline filled, interactive games, in the country. Customers should  wear comfortable clothes and be on time because if you are late, you’ll be locked out. Escape Rooms are one of the fastest growing forms of entertainment in the world!  “Escape From Hellscream” is very unique in that it takes place inside of an actual haunted attraction.

In 1902 the Vancouver Elks lodge was established.. due to popularity, it grew and moved to a bigger building. The spirits followed us there. Proven to be haunted by paranormal activity groups. We have transformed the basement based on  your nightmares coming to life. The whispers… are they actors? Or are they the spirits themselves? The cool breath on your neck? Dead Zone Haunted House is West Virginia’s premier haunted attraction. Located on Charleston’s historic east end, The Dead Zone is a multi-level venue with three haunted attractions in one location. Each attraction is designed to attack all your senses while making your way through tight corridors. What sets Dead Zone apart from other haunted attractions is that we allow our staff to physically interact with our customers

It all started as a simple Hayride. Chris and Linda Michaels were married in May of 1987 and by October of that year, the twisted side of Chris began to surface. His idea of a hayride for friends and family that Halloween would eventually lead to what we have today, Nightmares Haunted House. Which by the way, happens to be the highest rated haunted house in four states.HHawards15

Starting at a farm where Chris grew up near Cave Springs, the hayride would travel to Osage Creek where they would have a bon fire and roast marshmallows and hot dogs. The turnout was good and the hayride evolved each year adding scary stories and simple scares. A cousin on a horse dressed as a confederate soldier, an uncle with his head through a hot dog table were just a few of the early scares. Continuing to grow his passion to scare people, Chris added friends to hide along the route and in a cemetery to scare the hayride passengers on the way to the bonfire. In 1994, the scares were ramped up with the addition of Randy Gaudian and he has been a scare partner ever since.

As the years went on, the weather proved to be occasionally uncooperative so the Hayride became a haunted house set up at Chris and Linda’s home in Rogers. Now the Michaels family with Randy and friends ramped things up for all who dare to visit and visit they did. One room became too small and soon the garage and then the back yard were dedicated to the Haunted House. Popularity grew and available space didn’t so it was time for another move, this time to an unused part of the Kozy Heat warehouse.

With this larger space, Chris and Randy let their creativity run amuck. Donations were made to support the bonfire activities and the end of the night. More growth and more visitors quickly forced the Haunted House to move to the larger metal warehouse on the grounds operating only one weekend at Halloween. Averaging 200 to 300 visitors that weekend became very hard to handle for this small group of scare tactician’s.

12208550_10153328127752648_4476967102254604211_nIn 2003, the Haunted House partnered with the Bentonville Breakfast Lions Club and began a new era that would take this small operation to the big time. Lions Terry Franklin, Tom Gray and Ron Guadian were instrumental in this merger and continue to play key roles today. Ron funded the construction of a new building on the grounds that are today the location of Nightmares Haunted House. The first year Ron would drive the visitors to the Haunted House from Kozy Heat in a truck. The second year, Chris and Randy had the idea to incorporate a scary bus ride complete with a movie playing and a crazy bus driver that made the ride feel like a roller coaster.

The bus was a key attraction, along with a great Haunted House and the operation took off. The Lions Club handled ticket sales and concessions and put all the profits back into the community to charitable organizations in need. The actors are mostly high school kids donating their time. Over the last several years, Chris and Randy have brought on new partners who bring addition creativity and resources that have contributed to record breaking visitor counts each year. In 2015, over 13,000 people visited Nightmares Haunted House thanks to the efforts of our staff.

Laurel’s House of Horror and Escape Room has DC and Maryland’s scariest haunted attractions, all built inside of an abandoned movie theater. Choose from four Escape Rooms, open year round. The Haunt’s 4th Halloween season opens Friday, September 22 – November 4, 2017, with an all-new Haunted House expereience. This Fall, see both in one night with the limited R.I.P. Pass.

Yuma Nightmares Haunted House in Yuma, AZ

The Haunted House had a modest beginning in 2001 in Camelot Apartments with one person in a costume.  We then moved to Sierra Sunset behind Cibola High School and progressed to a banquet table scene full of homemade mannequins with movie icons enjoying the dinner and I (Mark) pushed all the different animatronic gadgets with my finger or triggered them with a flashlight while patrons toured the “Haunted House” in 2002.  At this point, the Haunted House was located in a small front yard. In 2003, a permanent maze was built in the garage, which lengthened the haunted house and gave us plenty of room to scare people.  Unfortunately, this made it difficult to do laundry as one would have to exit the kitchen door and walk through a maze to get to the washer and dryer, which was quite comical.  The Haunt grew over the next two years to cover most of the front yard, driveway, garage maze, and the roof utilizing 8-10 actors to provide scares. We then decided to move to a bigger and better location, because on Halloween night there were four blocks of parking tied up to get to the “Boogeyman Bungalo”. So, we ended up at our current residence on the corner of 4E and County 15½ which covers a little over 2½ acres.  This new haunt was renamed Yuma Nightmares Haunted House.  The current Haunted House takes up approximately 1 acre now.  We will probably keep the actual size of the haunted house to 1 acre as it takes 50 actors a night to cover all the areas adequately.  With the extra room we put up a 2,000 square foot tent-like structure which was a lot of fun, but we broke it down after two years in favor of a more code friendly open-air environment.  We have grown over 300 different plants in our desert lot to transform it into more of a park-like/cemetery-like environment which provides us with all kinds of fun shadows and creepy places to hide in. For the last six years, we also expanded to a Christmas event initially named “The Haunted Holiday” as we were trying to recreate what Disney was doing with their Haunted Mansion Holiday in the winter.  I strongly recommend you visit their event which runs from September to early January. Now our event utilizes 100 to 200 volunteers to fill the 50 positions per night needed to run an event this size.  Our set design is improved upon each year and our costumes become more elaborate with each season.
