The Ammons’ Demon House is brought back to life by Lee Daniels’ The Deliverance on Netflix. The Ammons House haunting was documented in over 800 pages of official records from authorities in what may be one of the most well-known hauntings since the Conjuring house or Amityville Horror hauntings. In The Deliverance, we begin to understand what the Ammons family endured as Academy Award Nominees Andra Day, Aunjanue Ellis-Tayler, Glenn Close, and Academy Award Winner Mo’Nique bring the story to life.
Known as the Demon House, or the 200 Demons House, the Gary, Indiana haunting made news in 2012 when Latoya Ammons reported strange occurrences and disturbances in her home.
