Frightville is a haunted house where 100% of the proceeds go to the Boys and Girls Club of Oak Harbor. Frightville actors are 100% volunteer. The house is worked on year around to get it ready for the next haunting season. Without our volunteers, what you see wouldn’t be possible.

In the quiet farm country on the outskirts of small town Indiana, not everything is what it seems. Here, in what used to be acres of farmland, remain the vestiges of what was once a privately owned and operated asylum. What horrors were committed in the name of science? Only Dr. Weitle knows, these secrets he took to the grave with him long, long ago. But, during the season of All Hallow’s Eve when the spirits of the tormented are free to roam the earth, the abandoned asylum comes alive with activity. It is said that the spirit of the doctor returns to continue his unspeakable experiments on his erstwhile patients.

Murder House haunted attraction in Tampa, Florida

Murder House is located in the heart of “Thrill Kill” Tampa, FL. “Thrill Kill’s” streets are populated by criminals, killers, psychopaths, and the corrupted. This area of Tampa is isolated from the rest of the city and is known to be dangerous and uninhabitable. People unfortunate enough to cross into this wasteland end up mangled in one of the various killing grounds. There are no rules in this sector; it is total anarchy.  In the center of the chaos, a vacant house boarded up and condemned, spawns pure evil. This evil dwelling has become known as: “Murder House“.

The “Thrill Kill“ zone is lost to the influence of criminal manslaughter. All authority has lost control and the killers have enslaved this world. The corrupted leaders have torched the constitution in flames instead favoring power, money, and sex. This is a perversion of society, where taboo and criminal justice  has infested into all the establishments in the area. “America’s Greatest Killers“ stalk these killing fields in personal quests of villainous behavior. They are drenched with the blood of the “Helpless Victims” that were not able to get out before this area of the city fell under the murderous hand of the “Thrill Kill.”

The Big Cat Rescue is Murder House’s charity of choice. It is the largest accredited sanctuary in the world dedicated entirely to abused and abandoned big cats. The sanctuary began rescuing exotic cats in Nov. 4, 1992. The non-profit 501c3 sanctuary is home to more than 100 exotic big cats. Murder House’s owner and operator Shane Downs is proud to donate to this amazing cause. “I toured the sanctuary and was awe inspired by the amount of care that these volunteers provide for their animals”, Shane said. Donations are accepted in form of cash, all major credit/debit cards and paypal payments. We here at Murder House appreciate all donations and extend gratitude for the generosity of your donations on behalf of The Big Cat Rescue. Murder House: A Haunted Attraction that utilizes a new method of scare! An intense collaboration of story driven characters with custom Audio/Visual FX that develops story-lines are Murder House’s Signature Traits. America’s Greatest Killers was conceived to promote Murder House and ensure that it remains original. Murder House creates its own brand of killer by using Americas Greatest Killers to institute unique story-lines and art design for each killer that appears within the Haunted Attraction. Custom sound is recorded to bring each design to life with recognizable ambient audio combined with verbal dialog. We believe that patrons will enjoy what we have created and will keep coming back year after year to see what Killers appear next.
Murder House was created August 2013 by owner and operator Shane Downs. We have a policy of “Aggressive Expansion” and expect to move our operations to a permanent location in Tampa. Shane expects Murder House to flourish into all forms of media and hopes to become a leader in the fright industry. Shane says, “As a kid I would set up a graveyard for Halloween every year. I absolutely loved scaring my neighbors and any trick-or-treaters. Now that I have the resources to create this elaborate Haunted Attraction, I let my creativity run wild! Seeing what I have come up with I can imagine scaring people for a career. I am extremely excited to have this opportunity to prove myself as a scare master.” I am reaching out to the community of Tampa Bay, I encourage you to come and attempt to survive Murder House. Feedback is necessary to show my investors in order to expand Murder House into a large warehouse as a permanent tourist attraction.

Parental Advisory: 18 years or older unless accompanied by an adult and younger children are discouraged due to the frightful nature of Murder House.

Over 15 years of Haunting experience in Modesto, CA. We’re a huge haunt family who LOVE all things Halloween!! Unlike other haunts, we change our themes from year to year to keep things fresh for our visitors. On top of that, we offer different themed NIGHTS as well! On Halloween we offer a no-scare kiddie walk through so the kiddos can collect candy and see the scenery but not have to worry about being frightened. We were the first in Modesto to do so because…we’re family friendly!

One of our largest attractions is our exclusive DEATHWORKZ Thrill Seeker experience. We wanted to offer a better scare for those who want to be thrust in the middle of a horror scene. We are sure to offer at LEAST one Thrill Seeker Night Experience every Halloween Season.

Fear Fair is a haunted attraction located in Seymour, Indiana. We are open the last weekend in September and every Weekend in October through Halloween.

Interstate Haunted Maze is a family friendly event open to the all ages and supporting local charities through donations collected from admissions. In 2014 we will be returning to 8601 Morrissette Drive, Springfield, Virginia. It is located at the intersection of Rolling Road and Morrissette Drive. House of the Setting Sun is a Haunted House in Green Spring WV and put on each Halloween by the Community Involvement For Kids Inc. Follow the pumpkins to our location if you Dare to be Scared.

The Haunt includes 13 rooms, a cemetery, 2 cornfields, claustrophobia, and a Haunted Barn. There is also concession stands, souvenirs & photos available.

BloodShed Farms is run by the Cast and crew from The Haunted Prison in Mt Holly NJ. The Haunted Prison was ran from 2004 until 2013. They’re not what you think they are…

For centuries, Fairytales have been told to children bringing them comfort, putting their busy little minds to rest and protecting us all from knowing the truth. Because the true story behind faerie tales is even more sinister than the Grimm Brothers portrayed. Knowing the truth unleashes the evil that resonates amongst these sweet little fairies, lovable lost children, and poor old ladies, for only the innocent are safe. Dare to enter into our forest and you will be forced to face the truth of the tales you believed as a child. Suffering, despair, and betrayal will consume you as screams echo throughout the forest. All who manage to survive the truth will escape leaving haunted and changed for eternity.

Not very long ago, When the wars of this new nation had been settled by blood and by fire. Two young boys, who had been playing on a local farm, uncover a strange item while darting through a field. Imprisoned within this entombment relic from a forgotten time was an entity of unspeakable evil, with a savage appetite for the harvesting of souls!

Upon finding this ancient prison, The boys ran and played as boys do, and as they did run and tumble, not only did they awaken this sleeping demon, They managed to break the chamber of its imprisonment, setting its influence and manipulation free, after an eternity locked and forgotten in the depths of damnation!!!

So, as the boys ran across the farm chasing and laughing relic in hand, Strange things began to happen. The scarecrows that once guarded the crops with a silent vigil began to kick and scream as they tore themselves asunder as they fell from their lofty posts. The boys now mortified run as fast as they can away from the corn and across the fence and into the cattle field only to watch the livestock drop dead by the dozen as they made their way through the herd. Realizing that this thing was the source of this madness, the boys ran to the base of a great oak tree and rushed to bury it!!

As the last handful of dirt had fallen upon the earthen heap at the base of the tree. The Harvester, Now free from its imprisonment absorbs the souls of the two unlucky children and the great tree splinters and dies collapsing to the ground and setting a home for this entity who brings great sorrows to this land. Unable to exist on this plain without the harvesting of souls, It reawakens at harvest each year to absorb the lost and unknowing as they are pulled in to wander this cursed orchard, this place where the veil between worlds is thin and split.

SO BEWARE ye who seek to find the lost and the dammed, for you have been warned! And I do pray that you can return with your soul still intact.
