Krampusnacht Underworld at the Haunted Infirmary is an indoor, theatrical haunt with live actors, unique scenes and original prop work.  All scenes are wheelchair accessible.

We are open Friday December 4th and Saturday December 5th for a special Holiday Krampus Haunt from 6:00PM until Midnight.

Admission is $10 per person for this event. Tickets will be available online or at the gate both nights (cash-only).  In order to ensure all patrons have a chance to experience the haunt before Midnight, tickets will be available until 11 pm or until sold out.

This haunted attraction has been one of central Illinois’ favorite scare spots for the last 14 years. For Steel Beam Theatre’s 5th Halloween season, its popular and highly-rated 3D haunted house has been transformed into an entire evening of screams, thrills and chills! Come experience “GRIMrose Farm”

Meet the monsters at St. Charles Park District’s Primrose Farm at 5N726 Crane Road off of Randall Road, just a few miles north of Kane County Fairgrounds.

Ghouls and zombies lurk in the old barns and buildings, fields, eerie tree-lined pathways and even on board the haunted hay wagons that transport you through this 1860’s farm. The Factory of Fear is the longest running Haunted Attraction and the largest indoor Haunted Attraction in the Quad Cities.

Opening in 1994 to the public, the Factory of Fear celebrated 20 years of FEAR with it’s 2014 season. 2015 is sure to top the 2014 season with the addition of 10 new rooms and more than a dozen new actors!

The Factory of Fear was voted in the top ten haunted houses in Illinois by the users of HauntedIllinois.com in 2014.

The Factory of Fear was voted the QC’s Top Haunt in 2011,2012,and 2013 by the users of Hauntedqc.com and in the top three in 2014.

A Central Illinois tradition for over 20 years. We feature a Haunted House, Haunted Graveyard, Hay rack ride, bonfires for roasting hot dogs and marsh mellows, laser tag and park activities for our younger guests. 1)The Dead Factory Haunted House is a Haunted Attraction with Hollywood-Style effects and design. Walk through the demented mind of Dr.Phobia, a crazed neuroscientist, who’s experiments have taken over every shadow and dark corner of his laboratory. 2) Zombie Paintball: Take your aggression out with 50 shots of paintball shooting live zombies as you’re pulled by our dead factory tractor & trailer. I hope you don’t miss! ($15)

The Story

It wasn’t always scary at the old factory on Liberty Street. Years ago…the building was used to assemble giant pieces of machinery. Trains were welded together. Trucks were repaired. Farm equipment rebuilt. It was a very busy place during the growth of Audrain County.

Then one day it all stopped. Without warning, everything in the factory disappeared. One day, it was all gone. The machines. The tools. The people.

Dr.Phil O’brian, an onsite research scientist, woke up on October 13, 1966 as he always does. Kissed his kids and wife good-bye for the day. Clocked in at 8:00 am. Then vanished with 50 other employees and co-workers.

The local police and fire departments concluded after their investigation “..there were no traces of foul play or an accident..” “..all that was left were the clocks. All of them had stopped at 1300 hours (1 pm). Everything was gone!”
