Scream Scene is in it’s 19th year and is 22 rooms and hallways of terror. Redesigned each year it is one of the most unique haunts around.

t this time of year, the abandoned for the season Skokie Water Playground becomes host to the most frightening experience in Skokie. With it’s chainsaw maniacs and insane clown maze, Scream Scene has been terrifying visitors since 1997.

Rob Zombie’s bone-chilling experience combined the best HAUNTED HOUSE technology featured in 3 different haunted attractions. The attractions will put you in the middle of the most immersive experience of your life.
The three attractions are based on Rob Zombie’s horror films and characters:

1. Captain Spaulding’s Clown School in 3D,
2. The Devil’s Rejects, and
3. the film 31.

It’s the ultimate midway, BLOODY BOULEVARD, with roaming creatures, freak shows, themed food and drink, musical entertainment, and creepy activities. The Bloody Boulevard will not be open on concert nights but there will still be plenty of roaming freaks and food and beverages
An entire night of fun and fright.

When will Rob Zombie bring back the Great American Nightmare?

So far, there has been no word on a return from Rob Zombie and no reason given for his hiatus. The last Great American Nightmare haunted house was in 2015. Perhaps Covid has played a role in the continued absence of this Halloween fan favorite. Only time will tell.

Captain Spaulding’s Clown School in 3D

This irreverent school of pure terror is a hallucinogenic trip through the mind of Captain Spaulding.  Startle after startle will thoroughly frighten the bravest victim, who won’t know whether they should be screaming, laughing, or crying.
The Devil’s Rejects

The murderous, backwoods Firefly family takes to the road to escape a vengeful police force that isn’t afraid of being as ruthless as its target. Guests will become part of the stat troopers’ search and destroy mission against the Firefly family who are wanted for over 75 homicides and disappearances.

On October 30, 1975, five carnival workers were kidnapped and held hostage until the following night (Halloween), when they are put in a compound named “Murder World”. They’re told that they are there to take part in a game named “31” where the goal is to survive past the next 12 hours. This is made difficult by the fact that they are not alone in Murder World; a violent gang of evil clowns is there and stalking their every move.

Midnight Terror Productions is a company dedicated to bringing you a truly unique and frightful experience. We have taken what we have learned over 15 years in the Haunt industry and put on a terrifying show every year! Our team is what really makes us different. Last year was Midnight Terror’s first year as a pro-level Haunted House. Teamed up with the Village of Oak Lawn, Midnight Terror brought Oak Lawn their first ever commercial haunted house. The location was the old Beatty Lumber Site located at 9531 S 52nd Ave. This location although old and outdated was turned into a state of the art facility that entertained close to 10,000 people last October. With only a few months time Midnight Terror was able to turn an empty warehouse, into a remarkable haunted attraction that drew business from all over the state.
Midnight terror has also won many awards, 6th best Halloween event in Illinois, 6 out 5 from Horror Tours, and Horror Tours hall of fame. Midnight Terror was also featured in the Oak Lawn patch, Inside Oak Lawn, South Side Star, Spooky Things Blog, Haunt Search, Hauntedillinois.com, hauntedhousechicago.com and Haunters Digest. Midnight terror is also sponsored by many local businesses in the area.

A haunted hayride that is sure to scare even the bravest of souls! This spine-tingling excursion will chill you to the bone as you journey through the underworld of Dellwood Park. The unsettling sights and sounds will keep your adrenaline pumping as wicked entities encompass you throughout your entire ride of terror. Clips of the scariest Halloween movies will air on our 20 foot outdoor movie screen while you await your Hayride of Horror, and our bonfire will keep you warm while keeping the evil from incinerating your soul! Krampusnacht Underworld at the Haunted Infirmary is an indoor, theatrical haunt with live actors, unique scenes and original prop work.  All scenes are wheelchair accessible.

We are open Friday December 4th and Saturday December 5th for a special Holiday Krampus Haunt from 6:00PM until Midnight.

Admission is $10 per person for this event. Tickets will be available online or at the gate both nights (cash-only).  In order to ensure all patrons have a chance to experience the haunt before Midnight, tickets will be available until 11 pm or until sold out.

This haunted attraction has been one of central Illinois’ favorite scare spots for the last 14 years. In the rural cornfields of central Illinois, The Halls of Madness Slaughter Farm is where you will be faced with your worst fears. For Steel Beam Theatre’s 5th Halloween season, its popular and highly-rated 3D haunted house has been transformed into an entire evening of screams, thrills and chills! Come experience “GRIMrose Farm”

Meet the monsters at St. Charles Park District’s Primrose Farm at 5N726 Crane Road off of Randall Road, just a few miles north of Kane County Fairgrounds.

Ghouls and zombies lurk in the old barns and buildings, fields, eerie tree-lined pathways and even on board the haunted hay wagons that transport you through this 1860’s farm. Stop to catch your breath, enjoy some refreshments by the bonfire and calm your nerves before meeting more of the farm’s lost souls.
