The Haunted Chateau Marmont Hollywood is full of celebrities, glitz and glamour, but with all of that comes scandal, tragedy and shock. Chateau Marmont has been called “the place to go to misbehave.” Henry Cohn, head of Columbia, told two young stars, “If you must get in trouble, do it at Chateau Marmont.” With its star-studded history and a touch of infamy, the Sunset Strip Chateau Marmont hotel is haunted. Hotel Albuquerque at Old Town, 800 Rio Grande Blvd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104, USA

Stayed here a few years back during a work holiday party. Very nice, but our stay started of quite weird. We were on the 3rd floor, and had friends staying in the room beside us. We checked in early and decided to roam around downtown for a bit. Came back from exploring to find their room was locked from the inside. Management attempted to open the door with a master key to no avail. After quite some time, the door just seemed to be unlocked from the inside and opened without force. Later that night we were getting ready for bed and we hear kids laughing and running the hall. By this time, it was close to 2am. I opened the door to say something only to find nothing. My ex told me not to mention anything to our friends because she didn’t want me to seem “crazy”. Well at breakfast the following morning our friends asked if we heard anything which opened the door for a conversation on the haunting at this place. I am a firm believer that this hotel has both living and non-living guests. I am actually headed there this weekend with my wife for our anniversary. Who knows what will happen.
