The 13th floor arrives in San Antonio, Texas. New themes for 2015 include “Into the VOID” and “Burial Ground,” two nightmares sure to make you scream.

In operation since 1989, Utah’s Haunted Forest is set in a true forest. The ambiance and nightmarish trees were scary enough before, now you’re in for a treat.

Haunted Forest – Our feature haunted attraction is a hellacious half-mile full of scares at every turn. You’ll journey through the dark forest to find scenes of horror and a trail of destruction. Stay on the path!

Dark Trail – Grab the rope and journey through the woods laden with a doomsday compound and Armageddon lovin’ hillbillies.

Haunted Hayride – Sit back and relax. NOT A CHANCE! Take a hayride through your worst nightmares. You can’t run. You can’t hide.

Killers in the Corn – The corn stalks are bloodied from the horrors that hide beyond.

The McCall family owned this land for centuries. They farmed the land & raised livestock for their butcher shop. Then in the early 70s the State Highway Dept. decided to build an interstate right through the farm. Mr. McCall fought it with all he had, but in the end lost. He was never the same after this defeat. He watched helplessly as the highway was constructed right through his family land. Over time the farm fell into ruin, a shadow of its former self. Mysteriously, his family was never seen or heard from again.   It was rumored that Farmer McCall slaughtered his wife & children, though there was no evidence to prove it. In the following years there were even more rumors of missing tourists that broke down on the road near the farm. There were superficial investigations by the local authorities but they could never find any evidence that Mr. McCall had anything to do with the mysterious disappearances. Some locals suggested that Mr. McCall was butchering motorists that broke down near his farm. Shortly after these rumors began to circulate, Mr. McCall seemed to disappear as well.   Finally, local officials searched the farm for Mr. McCall and his family after no one had seen or heard from them in months. Their worst fears were realized when they found skeletal remains of many missing tourists. The most shocking discovery however was the shallow graves of Mrs. McCall and their 4 children.   Mr. McCall was never found. However, some claim to see him tending the fields at night, carrying on his gruesome work.

Due to long wait times for our haunts in the past, we have implemented a system that allows you more time to enjoy the farm without spending all of your time in line. As you arrive, pick up a custom playing card at the entrance. These cards will determine your place in line at each haunt. Watch our monitors (located at the entrance to each haunt & in the red barn pavilion) for your card to be called. At that time you may line up for the haunt. If you miss your call time, but your card has already been called, you can line up at that time. You must show your card as you enter the haunt line & surrender your card at the entrance of your last haunt. Of course, if you purchase a VIP Pass, you may line up in a separate queue at any time. We hope this will provide a more positive experience on our busy nights & will allow you time to eat, shop, hang out with friends, use the restrooms… without feeling pressured to get in line as soon as possible.

NEW THEMES

This fall, House of Torment is ready to wow Chicago with cutting edge special effects and horrifyingly detailed scenes and sets for a thrilling haunted house experience. Featured at House of Torment Haunted House are two spine chilling attractions all at one location for one ticket price!

NIGHTMARE HIGH: As The Frenzy is taking over Chicago, the high school kids have discovered problems of their own. The local high school in Morton Grove has been overrun by a horde of undead teenagers. It is rumored that a zombie cheerleader with hair the color of blood now rules the halls, and she carries a machete to prove it. Detention takes on a whole new meaning at this “Nightmare High”. They say should you find yourself trapped in this schoolhouse of the damned, stay calm, act like the dead, and you may escape unnoticed. If you do, don’t stop for even a moment to look over your shoulder, because if she sees you, there may be some horrid lessons you’ll have to learn.

THE FRENZY: Visit the small town of Templeton and it’s abandoned 17th Century school, said to be filled with condemned souls. Hope that you don’t run into Hellen, the most vocal one of all. No one knows for sure how the condemned souls have come to be trapped, but one thing remains certain they want revenge. Are you brave enough to enter the school? Will you make it out or will you become one of The Abandoned!

PENNHURST ATTRACTIONS

The Pennhurst Haunted attraction includes the Pennhurst Asylum, a hospital themed walk thru attraction featuring many items and artifacts that were part of the original State School. Located on the upper floors of the old Administration building, which dates to 1908, this attraction features a combination of high tech animatronics, digital sound and motivated actors, as well as fine detail and realism. We have added lots of new props, and made many changes for the upcoming season.

THE DUNGEON OF LOST SOULS

Features a labyrinth of old cells, drafty halls and a series of human experiments that have gone horribly wrong. This show includes CGI special effects, illusions, great detail and amazing actors.

THE TUNNEL TERROR

The Tunnel Terror attraction takes you through a 900 foot long gauntlet underneath the grounds of the old State School, first named Pennhurst Home for the Feeble Minded and Epileptic. Upgraded with amazing catacombs, new sets and scares, this attraction is guaranteed to produce screams.

GHOST HUNT

The final attraction, called Ghost Hunt, is a self guided tour of the Mayflower Building, reportedly the most active of all the locations on the campus, and featured on Ghost Adventures and Ghost Hunters. Armed with only a flashlight, visitors are allowed to wander through the dormitory, left just as it was 26 years ago, and search for spirits on their own.
