Overview

 The 5th annual “Sterling Hell Haunted Mine”

is a fundraising event for the Ogdensburg

school 8th grade graduating class. This event

is set up, managed, and carried out by an

all-volunteer crew of parents, students,

community members, and mine employees

for a wonderful cause! 100% of the proceeds

will be donated to the 2022/2023 graduating

class to fund their trip to Boston at the

end of the school year. BUT… don’t fool yourself for one minute. This IS one of the very best haunted events you will find! Why? Because since the late 1600s many hundreds of men have perished deep within these mines. Is there a more haunted location in the United States than this? Come find out…

  This year marks our 41st Annual Haunted House!! In 1978, the ladies of the Sorosis Club came up with a fundraising idea that has grown into our Annual Haunted House. It was an instant hit for the residents in our community and they look forward to coming back every year. Many local residents have come through as children and are now sharing the experience with their own grandchildren! H.H. Each year, St Helens, Oregon transforms into the place that captured our imagination back in 1998 with a month long festival. October 1, the town becomes Halloweentown straight from the Halloween classic. Most of the St Helens was featured in the Halloweentown films and the city of St Helens has embraced the fame.
