The Colony Hotel in Miami Beach on Ocean Drive has some strange happenings. My wife and I checked in and brought our luggage to Room 311, dropped them off then immediately left the room to park our vehicle. Upon returning to the room we heard loud noises coming from the room and tried to enter but the key was no longer working. We thought had the wrong room as we heard the television on very loud, I continued to try the key and finally was able to enter the room. The television was on but we didn’t touch the remote or television prior to leaving. We’re still in the room now and nothing out of the ordinary has happened but we’re not completely checked out of the room. I’ll let you know if something else occurs as it is currently 2:14 a.m.
The colony hotel was great besides the times where we would be on the elevator and press floor two and it was take us up and back down and it was very creepy. Then we would get to our floor on floor 2 and we would put our card in the key and it would not open even though it unlocked. It felt like someone was holding our door shut then. One time we left and shut our curtains and we came back to them wide open. I will definitely say I think it’s haunted.
