This account is what I can remember when my husband & I stayed there in 2012 for 2 nights.
We were in the “Trillium” room – we went up to the room via the back stairs (apparently; those were the servants stairs) which are very narrow and steep. First off, I thought I saw someone standing in the window of the small room down at the end of the hall. It’s a small room about as big as a closet with a window in the door – I assume to let light in natural light upstairs.
Our room was the first one on the right. It was stuffy as it was the month of June so I turned on the window air conditioner. We went exploring in town and came back after a few hours to get ready for dinner at a local restaurant. I adjusted the air conditioner so it was comfortable for sleeping and moved the chair in front of it to deflect the cold air from directly blowing on the bed. That night the bathroom light kept going on and off only for a few seconds at a time about every few hours. I got up around 3a.m. because I was freezing and found that the chair had been moved back to it’s original spot and the cold air was blowing directly on me. OK, no biggie – thought I would just let it go.

Second night – same thing, bathroom light going on and off, chair moved back to it’s original spot, but then it got even more strange. It’s that feeling of “am I dreaming this, or am I awake and actually experiencing this”?
The door of the room opened (mind you that there was a chain lock on the door) and two balls of green light floated in; one floating slightly higher that the other. I got out of bed and followed them around the foot of the bed where they disappeared into the wall. That wall vanished and what lay behind was like empty attic space. I saw a skeleton sitting on the floor with it’s back propped up against the wall. I was lead back to the bed, climbed in laying on my back and was proceeded to be tucked in very tightly along both sides of my body and my long hair was laid out on the pillow. I tried to call softly to my husband, but he did not move. It felt like I was paralyzed. I wanted to move the chair back in front of the air conditioner to block the cold air blowing on me, but could not get out of bed. Then the air conditioner stopped.

The next morning at breakfast, I asked about the history of the house and was told that is was built in 1902 and was owned by a doctor. I didn’t want to say anything to the other guests at breakfast because I didn’t want to freak anyone out.
I am a bit of a skeptic when it comes to these thongs, but I know what I experienced….it freaked me out.
