The Sorrento Hotel in Seattle, WA has been accepting guests since 1909. In the early days of the hotel’s existence, there weren’t any signs of apparitions or appearances. That changed when Alice B. Toklas died. She’s been seen haunting the halls of the Sorrento. Her family lived in the First Hill neighborhood in the late 1890s, which is where the Sorrento now stands. In Whitehill, New Hampshire, ghost hunters have heard tales of the Spalding Inn. This inn has always been one of the places that thrill seekers would run to to get the pants scared off of them. It was owned by Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson from the television show Ghost Hunters. This inn was formerly known as the Cherry Hill House and was built in the 1860s.
