The Broadview Hotel dates back to 1922. Despite its classic appearance, it’s one of Wichita’s scariest locations. The hotel was the scene of a tragic murder/suicide when a guest named Clarence found out his wife was unfaithful. In desperation, Clarence killed his wife then jumped from the hotel balcony. Clarence is the most active of the spirits and makes his presence felt in many ways. Poveglia Island is known as one of the most haunted places in the world. Located in Italy between Venice and Lido, the island was first noted in the historical registry in 421. Most of the residents fled the island in 1379 due to warfare. However, from 1776 until 1876, the island was solely used for quarantine stations during the plague, and then a mental hospital was located there. In 1968, the mental hospital closed, and no one has lived on the island since. Quite a few incidents occurred here to make it as terrifying as it is today. Read more…

The Haunted American Club Hotel Don’t let the glamorous exterior of The American Club Hotel fool you. It may be a member of The Historic Hotels of America but it’s also a member of The Most Haunted Hotels in Wisconsin. The grand establishment was built in 1918 to house immigrant laborers who came to the states to work for the Kohler Company. As the workers started buying houses and building families within the community, the estate began to fall into despair from lack of care and use.
