Los Angeles (aka The City of Angels) was a perfect inspiration for the City of Dark Angels concept.   With a jagged past, Los Angeles became a beacon for the Deadly Sins as the main cause of death.  Gangster activity, cults, and high hopes in a city of dreamers that often times couldn’t handle the consequences that the film industry of Hollywood painted onto them.  Lust, Greed, Envy, Wrath, Pride, Sloth, and Gluttony.  And somehow Las Vegas ended up with the title, “The city of Sin”!  If they only knew it started here. Is Salem’s Hawthorne Hotel haunted? The Hawthorne Hotel is ranked as one of the most haunted hotels in America. Guests have frequently reported moving furniture, sightings of a ghostly woman, unexplained noises and crying and more. The show Bewitched even filmed an episode in one of the elevators during the 70s and in 1990 the hotel held a seance in the Grand Ballroom to try and contact Harry Houdini. The most well known of the ghosts at the Omni Homestead Resort is a bride from the early 20th-century who took her life when her fiance disappeared on their wedding day. She is seen walking through the hallways on the 14th floor stopping guests to ask them what time it is. Apparently, she’s hoping that her fiance will return to the hotel, and she’ll finally have her happy ending. If you stay at the resort, you may just encounter this sad spirit. Read more…
