Overview

The Golden Lamb Inn is the oldest inn in Ohio and has an illustrious history since it’s more than 200 years old. Famous people including Charles Dickens, Mark Twain, and several U.S. Presidents have stayed there. Naturally, there are plenty of stories about spooky encounters at the inn.

Sarah is the resident ghost at the Golden Lamb. She was the niece of one of the hotel’s managers and either grew up there or spent a lot of time there. She had her own room which was moved at some point, and she’s not happy about it. She expresses her disapproval by moving pictures and other objects in the room.

Is the Yellowstone Art Museum Haunted? The Yellowstone Art Museum opened in 1964. It houses both contemporary and historical art. It used to be the Yellowstone County Jail, which was built in 1884. A man was hanged in the jail years ago and there are still some jail cells remaining that you can look at. It is said that several of the cellmates may have stuck around from the 19th century.
