The Heart of Darkness is Iowa’s scariest haunted complex. There are 10 separately themed haunted areas, including the Mausoleum Maze, House of the Walking Dead, Grizzly’s chainsaw masacre, and more. Meanwhile, dedicated creepers such as Crispy the arsonist, Papa Voodoo the witchdoctor, and Chopper Charley Bartlett terrorize every corridor.

A very scary and muddy night at the heart of darkness! These actors are so scary I was screaming the whole time. It was really one of the best haunts I’ve been to. The clown room was amazing, can’t wait to go again next year!
One of the best haunted attractions I have ever been to. There was so much to see and the scares were just frightfully awesome.
