This hotel has a few hauntings according to both guests and staff. In one of the rooms closest to the main desk, a guest committed suicide. The housekeepers don’t like to clean that room. A woman and her two children are often seen in the hallways. They’ve caused mischief in many of the guest’s rooms. On the third floor, one ghost asks the housekeepers for towels but immediately disappears.

The infamous Exorcist Stairs The Exorcist is labeled universally amongst film fans as the scariest motion picture ever made. There are others that come close in terms of gory special effects or a sudden plot twist late in the third act. Fort East Martello Museum. Home to Robert the Haunted Doll. The Fort East Martello Museum is home to the Robert the Doll aka, Robert the Haunted Doll. People come from all over the world to see famed artist Gene Otto’s even more famous counterpart, Robert the Doll. Gene kept Robert the Doll with him until his passing in 1974. Robert is said to have been cursed by a Bahamian servant who made the doll out of wire, hay, old clothes and some of Gene Otto’s own hair. Read more…
