Award-Winning Haunted Attraction “The 17th Door” Returns for 11th Season

Celebrating its eleventh season, The 17th Door Haunt Experience returns to Orange County with a dynamic 2025 production featuring state-of-the-art effects, immersive storytelling, and exclusive behind-the-scenes access.

Recognized as one of the most intense haunted attractions in the nation, The 17th Door is known for pushing boundaries with interactive and theatrical design. This season, The 17th Door will feature cutting-edge experiences including rotating rooms, earthquake effects, and hurricane-force winds.

The production follows the continuing story of Perpetuum Penitentiary, where inmates are subject to both terrifying punishment and twisted scientific experiments. Each door introduces a new layer of the nightmare, immersing guests in a 35-minute experience that is unlike any other Halloween event.

Guests may also add on the Backstage Tour, which debuted in 2024 and returns due to popular demand. This guided 30+ minute experience offers a rare opportunity to witness the technical artistry and creative efforts behind The 17th Door—including access to cast areas, costume design, scare routes, and the central control room.
