The building was erected in 1763, and in the early 1980s, it was listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Although, it’s been around for years, only one spirit seems to haunt this location. She’s known as the Lady in White. She has been seen walking the second floor hallways. At the back of the property, there is an empty house. The Lady in White has been seen walking to that house too.

Paranormal enthusiasts know that the best reason to visit the Hotel Congress in Tuscon is for Room 242, which is the hotel’s haunted room. Built in 1919, the old hotel played host to a number of guests over the years, but history buffs know the hotel because police once captured infamous bank robber John Dillinger there. Room 242, sometimes called the suicide room, was where a guest checked in and never checked out. The Loews Don CeSar hotel in St. Petersburg, Florida is sometimes called the Pink Palace, but it is also known as the most haunted hotel in the Tampa Bay area. Stories say that the broken-hearted man who originally built the hotel, Thomas Rowe, has never left the premises although he died in 1940. Highly recommended. The inn keepers are the nicest people you’ll ever meet and they are so accommodating. It’s an exceptionally beautiful and clean property. Breakfast was to die for. I can’t believe we didn’t stay sooner. The views are gorgeous. Definitely not a drive by. It’s like being on vacation in Europe. Worth every penny.
Blackberry River Inn is a BEAUTIFUL quaint Inn. The room was clean & fresh. Lucas B. went out of his way to make our stay a wonderful memory.
