The Timberline Lodge AKA The Overlook Hotel from The Shining Timberline Lodge sits in Mount Hood National Forest in the state of Oregon. The hotel is most recognized as the hotel that was used for the exterior hotel shots for the Stanley Kubrick version of The Shining starring Jack Nicholson and Shelly Duvall.
