Ready to uncover the chilling truth behind Cripple Creek’s #1 Ghost Tour? This immersive walking experience takes guests through Cripple Creek’s most haunted and historic areas with expert local guides who specialize in documented history and long-standing local legends. Tours operate nightly, year-round, offering a reliable and atmospheric way to explore this former gold-rush boomtown after dark. As you wind through the steep streets and preserved buildings of Cripple Creek, you’ll hear carefully researched stories rooted in real events that reveal how mining, fortune, and tragedy shaped one of Colorado’s most famously haunted towns.

Along the route, guests visit some of Cripple Creek’s most iconic and reportedly haunted locations, including the BPOE #316 Elk Lodge, a historic fraternal building tied to the town’s early social life; Cripple Creek City Hall, a longstanding civic landmark with stories connected to past officials and visitors; and Johnny Nolan’s Casino, located on ground central to Cripple Creek’s gaming and frontier history. Guests may also choose to add the Bonus Extended Tour, which includes additional stops such as the Cripple Creek Red-Light District, once a bustling part of the mining era; the Old Homestead Parlor House, one of the best-preserved brothels of the Old West; and the Cripple Creek District Museum, which houses artifacts from the town’s gold-rush past. Tours focus on exterior storytelling only—we do not enter buildings—allowing guests to experience as many haunted sites as possible while standing on historically significant ground. The route involves steady walking and elevation changes, so guests are encouraged to wear their most comfortable shoes.

This walking ghost tour is ideal for individuals and couples as well as private groups, bachelorette parties, corporate outings, and special events, offering a fun and memorable way to experience Cripple Creek together. Each tour balances eerie atmosphere with historical accuracy, making it engaging for skeptics and believers alike. Proudly USMC Disabled Combat-Veteran-owned and women- and minority-led, the tour reflects a commitment to inclusive leadership, responsible storytelling, and unforgettable haunted experiences—night after night, all year long.
