Ready to uncover the chilling truth behind Dover’s #1 Ghost Tour? This immersive walking experience takes guests through Dover’s most haunted and historic areas with expert local guides who specialize in documented history and long-standing local legends. Tours operate nightly, year-round, offering a reliable and atmospheric way to explore Delaware’s capital after dark. As you walk through Dover’s historic streets, you’ll hear carefully researched stories rooted in real events that reveal how colonial history, political power, and tragedy shaped one of America’s oldest haunted cities.

Along the route, guests visit some of Dover’s most iconic and reportedly haunted locations, including Delaware Legislative Hall, the seat of state government with a long history dating back to the 1930s; Dover’s Historic Cemetery, where generations of early residents are buried; and the Kent County Courthouse, a central civic landmark tied to centuries of legal history. Guests may also choose to add the Bonus Extended Tour, which includes additional stops such as the Schwartz Center for the Arts, a historic performance venue known for after-hours activity; the Cooch Turner Murder Site, connected to one of Delaware’s most infamous crimes; and Woodburn, the Governor’s Residence, a colonial-era mansion associated with lingering legends. Tours focus on exterior storytelling only—we do not enter buildings—allowing guests to experience as many haunted locations as possible while standing on historically significant ground. The route involves steady walking, so guests are encouraged to wear their most comfortable shoes.

This walking ghost tour is ideal for individuals and couples as well as private groups, bachelorette parties, corporate outings, and special events, offering a fun and memorable way to experience Dover together. Each tour balances spooky atmosphere with historical accuracy, making it engaging for skeptics and believers alike. Proudly USMC Disabled Combat-Veteran-owned and women- and minority-led, the tour reflects a commitment to inclusive leadership, responsible storytelling, and unforgettable haunted experiences—night after night, all year long.
