The Beast is said to be America’s largest haunted house. Since 1991, The Beast has been scaring the pants off of anyone brave enough to visit the Kansas City, Missouri haunted attraction. It’s a 40 minute thriller that follows an “open format” haunt design that was originated at The Beast. The haunt came to life in 1994 when the Schmitt brothers, Bill and Ferd, had a brand new, greenhouse that was empty after the flower growing season in the spring. They wanted to come up with some way to utilize the space in October, rather than letting their brand-new building go to waste. They decided that they would try haunting unaware of the passion that their first experiment would bring out in them. They spent the entire late summer building their first haunted house in their dusty greenhouse. They hired a few actors and soon October came around. Read more…
Exciting maze with scares around every corner one of the highlights was for sure the clown by the truck that chased us through the maze, you can also reenter the maze and we had different scare each time. Overall I would highly recommend going to this maze the actors were well trained and casted and the costume looked amazing. Looking forward to coming back next year to see how much better and bigger it gets!
