   A group of us stayed in this Maison hotel in November of 2012 where my cousin and I shared a room I believe was 126 in the older part of the hotel. During the night we would hear the sounds of footsteps outside of our door. There would be unexpected breezes in the room that we couldn’t explain. Several times we heard what sounded like a scuffle in the rooms surrounding us which at the time were unoccupied and what sounded like a slight argument that was hard to hear.

   I work overnight at this location for over a year now. It is definitely haunted.

   In 2015 I stayed at this hotel with my sister my mother and my father. One night my dad woke up confused. He felt like someone was on top of him while he was sleeping while no one was there. I heard the piano playing melodically at odd hours like 4 am (which could have been normal for New Orleans but ) and I also had an eerie heavy feeling whenever I entered my room. This is hands down the most haunted hotel I’ve stayed at

   Stayed in new part during spring break last year with my mom and my kids. Loved this hotel and when we come back I will definitely stay here again. It was perfect. On that note our last night we talked with a couple in the hot tub who asked if they could switch rooms because they were getting slamming doors and beings jumping on their beds in the night. They were exhausted and willing to trade rooms and take my 4 year old and 6 year old mess. We did not switch due to having to get up at 3 am due to an early flight. I actually had picked this hotel due to reports of ghosts and other paranormal activities but we didn’t get to stay in the right part of the hotel for that I guess. Next time I will request to stay in the old unfinished part of the hotel. Loved New Orleans and loved Maison St. Charles!!

   I stayed in room 250. I had a quite different experience than most from what I’ve heard. As I was pulling the drapes shut i yanked a little hard. I was hit with a rush of anger and disgust towards me coming from another person. I don’t know who it was but I felt as if a spirited woman who cared very deeply about the house scolded me. I was on my knees at the time and apologized. Afterwards it felt as if an apparition hugged me and was thankful that i was able to acknowledge her existence and that i was apologetic. Another time i felt the presence of a man holding my back as I was going to the bathroom. It felt as if someone had fallen and hit their head while intoxicated. Whether the spirit witnessed it or was the victim I couldn’t tell.
