The French Lick Springs Hotel in Indiana has the distinction of being the most haunted building in the state. Paranormal activity on the sixth floor is standard. Eerie occurrences have happened on the seventh floor too. The staff has reported hearing dancing and music emanating from the empty ballroom. Workers on the overnight shift hear unexplained noises, phones in unoccupied rooms ring, and cold spots indicate that a spirit is present. In Whitehill, New Hampshire, ghost hunters have heard tales of the Spalding Inn. This inn has always been one of the places that thrill seekers would run to to get the pants scared off of them. It was owned by Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson from the television show Ghost Hunters. This inn was formerly known as the Cherry Hill House and was built in the 1860s.
