Welcome to the Forest of Freaks website, Wisconsin’s SCARIEST and LONGEST outdoor haunted forest.  We are located in Janesville, WI off of Highway 51, west of I-90 and just south of Route 11 (across the street from Blackhawk Technical College).  Our facility is Wisconsin’s longest outdoor haunted forest, featuring a choose your own path adventure, amazing special effects, monsters, scary clowns and more, all living in an outdoor haunted forest.  The average time to get through the forest is approximately 1 hour and could be longer, if you get out!

One of the most popular questions we get is – “Is it scary?”. YES!!! We recommend ages 13+. Anyone under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult age 18+.

Our facility also has a waiting area filled with bonfires and places to sit and hang out and we also offer concessions – hot apple cider, popcorn, candy, and soda. Please keep in mind this is an outdoor event so please dress accordingly.

NIGHTMARE FACTORY, is a walk-through haunted attraction based on a turn-of-the-century industrial complex that manufactured a wide array of “questionable” products in the early 1900s. Open Friday, Sept. 25 – Saturday, Nov. 7 (Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays). Gates and ticket booth open at 6:30 p.m., haunts open at 7 p.m., and gates close at 10 p.m. on weekdays and 12 midnight on weekends.

Nightmare on Edgewood (1927 S. Meridian) opens for its 42nd season on Friday, Sept. 25. All 2020 attractions will adhere to health and safety guidelines. New this year is THE CINEMA, where guests will find themselves stepping directly into their favorite scenes from iconic horror movies. Also new is CONLEY FARM, a dilapidated barnyard and stable crawling with violent and grossly deformed farmhands, the unfortunate victims of hazardous farming chemicals.
