One woman staying at the Silver Queen Hotel in Virginia City had so many spirit encounters during her vacation that she started the Paranormal Researchers of Oregon Society. Visitors have heard tapping on their bedroom door in the middle of the night, and the hallway was empty. One of the ghosts haunting the hotel is thought to be the original owner; Japeth Rawls. He seems to be hovering and overseeing the activities of the hotel’s employees. One employee said that he was supposed to hang window treatments, but one kept falling. When he tried to rehang it, he was hit with a board in the room. He decided that Mr. Rawls didn’t like that window treatment. Many of the spirits in the hotel seem to be children as reported by guests and staff. Read more…
Room 222 of the Hampton Inn Panama City Beach was the grisly scene of a murder suicide and death of 3 people back in 2018. That room may have some vibes to it as a result.
A friend, my daughter and I stayed at this hotel a few years ago. We thought we were so lucky and stayed on the top floor. The view was amazing. About 3:30/4am we were awoken by the light in the bathroom coming on, and then the water. We all sat up in bed wondering what the heck was going on. When the light and the water both turned off. Then we watched a cigarette being lit, and the the red tip of the cigarette then walked across the room and out onto the balcony. You could smell the cigarette like someone was actually in the room. Needless to say, none of us slept the rest of the night.

Since hurricane Michael this spectre has not been seen or heard from. All clear!!
