Nightmare Forest is Louisville’s longest-running outdoor haunted trail attraction, scaring visitors for 34 years from Brandenburg, KY — just 35 minutes from downtown Louisville. We’re Kentucky’s premier multi-attraction haunted destination, where every path winds deeper into a world built for one purpose: terror.
Walk our legendary haunted trail through cursed woods, face Hawthorne’s Circus Bizarre sideshow, conquer the haunted maze, and survive themed scare zones inspired by Hollywood horror — including The Last of Us, Sinister, 13 Ghosts, Texas, Haddonfield, and Garnettsville Ghost Town. Test your aim at Nightmare Forest Axe Throwing, refuel at our concessions stand, and prove you can make it out alive.

This is a no-touch haunt — our actors get close enough to make you forget that rule, but they will never make contact. Recommended for ages 13 and up. VIP Speed Pass available to skip the line. Group rates and private bookings welcome for schools, churches, corporate events, and large parties.
DON’T MISS OUT! This haunt is open for 15 nights only: September 19, 25, 26, and October 2, 3, 9, 10, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25, 30, 31. Fridays and Saturdays, plus two bonus Sundays on October 18 and October 25. Final night is Halloween, Saturday, October 31. Open select Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, September 19 through November 1, 2026. Easy drive from Louisville, Shepherdsville, Elizabethtown, Fort Knox, Radcliff, Bardstown, Mt. Washington, Bullitt County, Jefferson County, Meade County, and Southern Indiana (Corydon, Clarksville, New Albany, Jeffersonville).
Ticket booth opens at 7:00 PM. Friday until 12:30 AM, Saturday until 1:00 AM, and 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM on the two bonus Sundays. Anyone in line by closing gets in.
