The Sorrento Hotel in Seattle, WA has been accepting guests since 1909. In the early days of the hotel’s existence, there weren’t any signs of apparitions or appearances. That changed when Alice B. Toklas died. She’s been seen haunting the halls of the Sorrento. Her family lived in the First Hill neighborhood in the late 1890s, which is where the Sorrento now stands. It’s said that a gold miner named Howard Bok was murdered in one of the rooms of the hotel. It was built in 1924 and has been a rooming house as well as a cafe and office building over the years. The upstairs is said to be haunted by a little girl approximately four years old. It’s believed that she died after her mother beat her to death. The girl has red hair. She wears a pink shirt and jean shorts.
