Dread Hollow Haunted House in Chattanooga, Tennessee
Beginning October 1, the nationally ranked haunted house and escape rooms unleash three new immersive nightmares, each one more horrific and unearthly than the last.
Dread Hollow is a 25,000+ square foot haunted house that contains three ultimate nightmares. This year, visitors first step into the Belle Royale Hotel, where tortured souls and dark forces fill the halls with bloodthirsty chaos. The only escape route leads to Dread Hollow Cemetery. Here, legions of spiders, reptiles, and undead soldiers erupt from the ground, summoned by Mercy Harker, the witch whose curse dooms Dread Hollow. The journey ends in Skud Row, where Mercy lies in wait to ruthlessly ensnare all who venture near.
Haunted house admission is $25, or horror fans can purchase a $35 ticket that also includes access to the RIP Lounge, where guests have exclusive control over several scare zones inside the nightmares. Special discounts are available for College Night on October 1, Girl’s Night Out on October 8, and Date Night on October 9. The season ends with Black Out Night on November 1. During this lights-off experience, visitors make their way through Dread Hollow’s nightmares in the dark with only the light of one hand-held glowstick per group.

Ancient Evil Awakens At Dread Hollow This Season
Dreadwood Forest: ANCIENT EVIL
Deep beneath the soil, dark supernatural forces strain to break the bonds that hold them captive. Soldiers fracture the binding seal, unleashing the wretched evil buried for centuries. Legions of spiders, reptiles, and undead soldiers erupt from the ground, summoned by Mercy Harker, the witch who spawned the original curse that consumes Dread Hollow. As you weave through the crossfire, take care with the path you choose. Beware the path that leads to the abandoned high school, where Mercy is watching from the shadows.

She is the original evil. The conjurer of the curse that befell the tainted town of Dread Hollow in 1600. She has watched her sinister plot unfold over centuries, twisting minds to do her bidding to drown the town in horror and terror. She has returned, summoning powers of darkness to rise up and reclaim the town as her own. From Skud Row, the high school ruins, Mercy gathers her forces and lies in wait to ensnare all who venture near, condemning them to the ranks of her shadow army for the final battle to seize dominion over Dread Hollow.

The Collector

You and your team must uncover the truth behind their deaths, solve the puzzles they left behind, and free all thirteen souls before Mercy returns to reclaim her prized possessions.

Soooo much fun. I’d say this is my favorite thing to do every Halloween. Going back for Halloween night.
A fun haunt with a good mix of scares and new haunted houses every year. You buy a ticket for a specific date and time, which is great because you don’t waste a lot of time in line. Last year was my first year and I can’t wait to go back in a few weeks!
