My grandmother used to work at the hay Adams making beds. She made those beds for so long. She ended up having a humpback believe it or not. That’s the story. She told me many times when she would enter the room to clean up and make the beds that when she would turn to go out the door, the beds were unmade and everything was back the way it was before she straightened it And that happened many times she said she thought she heard conversations of people in the bathroom in the room taking showers and she shout hello hello is anyone in there until she’d open the door and the shower was running, but there was no one in there another time she told me she went to the room to make the beds and straighten the room and the door was shut and she knocked on the door a couple times and someone said we’re not ready to leave yet. Come back later. She got the other maid to give her the key to get in and there was no one in the room my grandmother was not one for making up stories, but it scared me to death when I was a kid when she told me some of those, and my mother would say stop telling him that you’re scaring him and she would tell my mother those stories are true she and the other maids would share stories
