This immersive experience will lead you through Baltimore’s most chilling and storied locations, guided by a local expert who knows every dark corner and eerie tale. Prepare yourself for an evening of entertainment and enlightenment as you uncover the hidden secrets that have shaped Baltimore’s tumultuous history.

Baltimore’s past is a rich tapestry, interwoven with tales of war, mystery, and the supernatural. On this tour, we will pull back the curtain on the city’s darkest secrets, from maritime disasters to the notorious pirates who once haunted its waters. As you tread on these hallowed grounds, you’ll learn why the spirits of the past continue to linger, their tragic stories woven into the very fabric of the city. The chilling accounts of vengeful ghosts and restless souls will make you question what lies just beneath the surface of this historic harbor town.

Tour Highlights

Our journey begins at one of Baltimore’s most infamous haunts, Max’s Taphouse. Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Fells Point, this 19th-century institution has long been a hub for eerie encounters. Patrons and staff alike have reported unexplained phenomena, from disembodied laughter echoing through the empty bar to the sound of footsteps when no one is there. Flickering lights and sudden drops in temperature only add to the atmosphere of mystery that surrounds this beloved tavern. As you stand in the shadow of Max’s Taphouse, you can almost feel the spectral presence of those who came before, their stories lingering like a whisper in the night.

Just a short walk away, nestled in the historic streets of Fells Point, lies Bertha’s, a restaurant famous for its mussels—and its ghosts. The building, dating back to the 1700s, has its own collection of paranormal tales. Employees have reported seeing shadowy figures darting across the walls, and the inexplicable sound of furniture being moved has filled the stillness of the night. The spirit of a woman dressed in period clothing is said to wander the dining rooms, her presence adding a spectral charm to this iconic establishment. As you listen to these eerie tales, you’ll find yourself glancing over your shoulder, wondering if the past is closer than you think.

Our tour wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Fell Family Cemetery, a quiet and unassuming resting place that harbors its own ghostly secrets. This historic cemetery is the final resting place of the Fell family, who played a crucial role in the development of Fells Point. But it’s not just the history that draws visitors here; it’s the feeling of being watched, the sense that you’re not alone among the graves. Some have even reported seeing ghostly figures moving silently among the tombstones, their presence sending a chill down the spine. The eerie silence of the cemetery is only broken by the soft rustling of leaves, creating an atmosphere that is both peaceful and unsettling, especially as twilight descends.

No exploration of Fells Point’s haunted past would be complete without stopping at The Horse You Came in On Saloon. As the oldest continually operating saloon in America, founded in 1775, it’s steeped in history—and ghostly lore. This iconic bar is rumored to have been the last place Edgar Allan Poe visited before his mysterious death, and many believe his spirit still haunts the establishment. Staff have reported objects moving on their own and cold spots that appear out of nowhere, signs that Poe’s restless spirit may still linger within these historic walls. As you step inside, you’ll feel the weight of history—and perhaps something more—as the stories of the past come alive in the flickering candlelight.

Established in 1706, this historic church has witnessed over three centuries of history, including tragedy and turmoil that have left their mark on the land. Visitors and locals alike have reported seeing shadowy figures and hearing unexplained noises in and around the church. Some believe these spirits are those of the early settlers and parishioners who met untimely deaths.

Another highlight of the tour is the Church Street Cafe, housed in a building that dates back to the early 1700s. The cafe’s charming exterior belies the eerie occurrences reported by staff and visitors over the years. From objects moving on their own to the feeling of being watched, this location is a hotspot for paranormal activity. Your guide will share the story of a former resident, a woman named Sara Ruiz, whose ghost is said to still linger in the cafe. Her spirit is just one of the many that are believed to haunt this historic building.

As you make your way through the Old Town, you’ll hear stories of gruesome deaths, unsolved mysteries, and eerie encounters that continue to haunt the living. The tour also touches on the darker side of Albuquerque’s history, including tales of illicit activities and financial misfortunes that have left a lasting impression on the city. These stories are not just ghostly tales but also a reflection of the challenges and hardships faced by the people who lived here centuries ago.

One of the most chilling stops on the tour is the Albuquerque Old Town Visitor Center. The building itself is relatively modern, but the land it stands on has a much darker past. Your guide will recount stories of ghostly apparitions and unexplained phenomena that have been reported by visitors and employees over the years. Some believe that the spirits of those who met untimely deaths in the area are still trapped here, unable to move on.

Each stop on the tour offers a new layer of Albuquerque’s haunted legacy, revealing the city’s complex and often tragic past. From the spirits of early settlers to the ghosts of outlaws, the stories you’ll hear are as diverse as the city itself. The Haunted Governor’s Bridge in Davidson, Maryland

The state of Maryland is home to many haunted locations, but Governor’s Bridge, located in Bowie, Maryland, is considered one of the most haunted places in the state. It is a historic bridge that spans the Patuxent River and it has a long and eerie history. For paranormal enthusiasts and thrill-seekers, the Governor’s Bridge is a must-visit location where they can experience unexplained phenomena, ghostly sightings, and eerie feelings.

The Governor’s Bridge is dubbed the Crybaby Bridge and the story is often confused with the Goatman’s Bridge, which is in Lantana, Texas. The two are much different, with different stories.

History of the Governor’s Bridge

The original Governor’s Bridge was built in the 1800s and was once an important crossing for the Patuxent River. The bridge played a significant role in Maryland’s Civil War history, where it was used as a strategic transportation center for Union troops. The bridge has been repaired and rebuilt several times. As the years went on, the Governor’s Bridge became known for something entirely different – its paranormal activity and mysterious legends.

Who Haunts the Crybaby Bridge?

One of the most enduring legends associated with Governor’s Bridge is the tragic tale of a young woman in the 1970s who threw her infant baby off the bridge into the cold waters of the Patuxent River. She then jumped in after her baby and both were never seen alive again. The bridge has been dubbed the “Crybaby Bridge” by locals who claim to have seen the apparition of the woman holding her baby crying on the bridge crying. Others have reported hearing the baby’s cries when passing over.

Paranormal Encounters at the Governor’s Bridge

Over the years, Governor’s Bridge has gained a reputation as a paranormal hotspot, drawing ghost hunters, thrill-seekers, and skeptics alike. Numerous accounts of strange phenomena have been documented, ranging from inexplicable cold spots and ghostly crying to apparitions of figures in period clothing. Visitors have reported feeling an overwhelming sense of unease as they traverse the bridge.

Local Legends and Folklore

In addition to the Crybaby legend, Governor’s Bridge is steeped in other local tales and folklore. Some stories recount the spirits of Confederate soldiers haunting the area, a reflection of Maryland’s historical ties to the Civil War. Others speak of tragic accidents on the bridge, with the souls of the deceased lingering in the afterlife. These ghost stories, passed down through generations, have shaped the Governor’s Bridge as a haunted landmark.

Where is the Governor’s Bridge Located?

As of December 2023, the bridge is closed. However, the bridge is located at Governor Bridge Rd, Davidsonville, MD 21035, and spans 105 feet.

Governor’s Bridge, AKA “Crybaby Bridge,” has a paranormal reputation drawing ghost hunters and skeptics alike. Where does this bridge lead? Perhaps, the other side? Safe travels…

Bhangarh Fort, Rajgarh Tehsil, Bhangarh, Rajasthan, India

The 16th century Bhangarh fort located in the Alwar district of Rajasthan, India is one of the most haunted places in the country. The Bhangarh Fort was built in 1573 AD by Raja Bhagwant Singh, the ruler of Amber. His great-grandson, Ajab Singh, built a nearby fort called the Ajabgarh.

Just by looking at this fort, visitors often get spooked by the energy here. In fact, this is one of the few places in India that the government has actually warned people about. There is something here that just isn’t right, and people in the area are terrified of what is behind these walls. When visiting the fort, you must go for a tour before sunset since no one is allowed in once the sun goes down. Let’s find out some more about the terror that lives inside this fort.

Is India’s Bhangarh Fort Haunted?

If you are brave enough to come inside of the fort, beware. Even though visitors are overwhelmed by the looks of the fort, they have felt a sense of anxiety upon entering the grounds. Other visitors claim that the feeling they got from the fort was like someone was following them around and making them feel paranoid everywhere they went. Even though this is a popular tourist spot, those who visit do not stay long. The feelings that they have gotten keep them away.

For centuries, the Bhangarh Fort has been known as a hotbed for paranormal activity. It is believed that spirits frequently show themselves at night. Rumors also linger that a curse lingers on the grounds and is part of the reason for all the paranormal activity.

The Curse of Bhangarh Fort

There are plenty of legends about the fort that locals have shared for centuries. One of these legends is about the curse of Guru Balu Nath. The site where the fort is located served as a place for his meditation. The area king told him that he would have to find a new place to meditate since he was building the fort. Guru Balu Nath begged him to change his mind but eventually agreed to leave. He did tell the kind that the fort’s shadow must never touch him.

The king told Guru Balu Nath that he would keep his word and the shadow would never touch him. However, this didn’t happen as planned. When he saw the shadow of the fort, it is said that is when Guru Balu Nath put a wicked curse on the fort and all who entered.

Weird Accidents

In any haunted building, there are generally unexplained events that occur. The fort is no different. Several adventure-seeking visitors tried to stay overnight at the fort. One of them ended up falling down a steep well but was rescued. When they all thought they were safe from the fort’s curse, on the way home, they all died in a car accident.

For ghost hunters and thrill seekers, visiting this fort will get your blood pumping, but be careful of the things that go bump in the night. The Haunted Bhangarh Fort in India

The Goatman's Bridge

Old Alton Bridge, Lantana, TX 76226, USA

The Goatman’s Bridge in Texas

The paranormal legend of the Goatman’s Bridge in Texas is one that has been passed down through generations. It is said to be haunted by an eerie entity known as the “Goatman,” a paranormal being with the head of a goat and the body of a human. According to local folklore, this creature roams around the bridge at night, terrorizing any who dare cross its path.

Where is the Goatman Bridge?

Constructed in 1884, the bridge’s real name is “The Old Alton Bridge” named after the abandoned city of Alton, which it served in the 1850s. It’s an aged iron bridge crossing over Hickory Creek between Denton and Copper Canyon, Texas that has since been replaced by the Old Alton Road. The Goatman’s bridge sits just East of Old Alton Road right outside Denton. The official address is Old Alton Bridge, Lantana, TX 76226. The True Story of the Goatman’s Bridge Origin

The origin of this Goatman’s Bridge paranormal activity dates back to the early 20th century. It is said that a respected black goat farmer named Oscar Washburn, who was dubbed “The Goatman” by his fellow citizens, was hung over the side of the bridge by Klansmen in 1938. This story quickly spread among locals and soon enough people began reporting similar sightings near or around the bridge itself and eventually gave rise to rumors of a haunted bridge guarded by an evil spirit they called “the Goatman.” As time went on more people began reporting paranormal experiences while crossing or even just walking nearby the Goatman’s Bridge leading many believers in paranormal phenomena to consider it one of Texas’ most haunted places.

Still today visitors come from all over just to experience what could be described as an otherworldly atmosphere near this mysterious landmark and there are always stories circulating about those who dare cross its path late at night…

Haunted Sauer Castle in Kansas City, Kansas

935 Shawnee Rd, Kansas City, KS 66103, USA

Haunted Sauer Castle in Kansas City, Kansas

Sauer Castle haunted mansion in Kansas City, Kansas is a place of eeriness and mystery. Built in 1871, the Italianate-style castle has been witness to countless tales of paranormal activity, haunted spirits, and supernatural phenomena. Many visitors have reported ghostly sightings inside the mansion walls; from strange noises echoing through the halls to apparitions appearing out of nowhere. If you are brave enough to explore this haunted mansion, be prepared for a spine-tingling visit. Who knows what otherworldly terrors you may encounter? Dare to enter if you dare – but beware! You never know what might lurk within its haunted walls…

History of Paranormal Activity at the Sauer Castle

Sauer Castle has captivated visitors with paranormal phenomena for years. Located near the Missouri River, the castle was built by German immigrant Augustin Sauer in 1871 and was once an impressive three-story building with a large ballroom and spectacular views of the city from its rooftop.

Since then, it has been subject to paranormal activity such as strange lights and noises, paranormal sightings, and even reports of mysterious apparitions. It’s said that many have heard screams coming from the castle during the night, as well as eerie music playing without explanation. Some witnesses have reported seeing shadows moving in the dark of night or feeling an icy chill emanating from certain parts of the castle.

Even more paranormal encounters have been documented over the years, including sightings of mysterious figures walking through walls or faces appearing in windows – all without explanation or origin. Many believe these paranormal occurrences are connected to a tragic event that occurred at the castle during its heyday: two children, believed to be siblings, died while playing in a now-abandoned part of the castle.

Today, many paranormal investigators and ghost hunters flock to Sauer Castle to document their findings. In recent years, mediums have also visited the paranormal site, noting that there is an energy or “presence” inside the castle – one that cannot be explained by any natural phenomenon or human behavior.

The most common paranormal activity reported here is seeing ghostly figures roaming around late at night and hearing voices coming from empty rooms. Other phenomena include objects being moved mysteriously across rooms on their own accord, orbs flying around within view, and strange smells filling up different areas throughout the building.

Sauer Castle Today

The castle was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977 and placed in Kansas’s Historic Landmarks in 1987. The castle is in need of repair as of 2023. You can look through the fence and see this historic place. Some people still get in the building of their own accord, but that is ill-advised from both a legal and paranormal standpoint.
