The Old Silver Lake Lodge / Panorama Inn is no longer. It sat for years but has now been torn down. Ghost hunters used to frequent the old Lodge & Inn when it was rife with activity. Any stories to be shared are welcome. Pictures too!
Just because they moved the building. Doesn’t mean “everyone” left.
You didn’t hear this from us, but the old grounds are a bit unkept and could make for a great camp out and ghost hunt.

It isn’t that Bates Motel, but it’s speculated that the author of Psycho, Robert Bloch, stayed in the hotel before writing the book that inspired the 1960 film. This hotel was established in 1945, having previously been a World War II soldier’s barracks. Closed in 2015, Coeur d’Alene’s Bates Motel is still an icon for Idaho’s paranormal lovers. It is said to be haunted and still continues to draw ghost hunters, film buffs, and paranormal lovers. Rooms 1 or 3 have been rumored to have the most paranormal activity. Read more…
